Ingredients
  

Herbal Infusion

  • 2 cups water filtered
  • 1 cup fresh herbs such as mint, chamomile, rosemary, or thyme
  • 1 tsp citrus zest lemon, orange, or lime
  • 1/2 cup sweetener honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring water to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the fresh herbs and citrus zest. Cover and steep for 15-20 minutes.
  • Strain the infusion through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean container.
  • Stir in the sweetener of your choice until fully dissolved.

  • Transfer the herbal cordial into a glass jar or bottle and store in the refrigerator.

Notes
