  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of celery soup

  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • butter for greasing the baking dish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13‑inch baking dish with butter.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, instant rice, and water. Stir until smooth and evenly mixed.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly to form a smooth bed.
  • Place the chicken breasts directly on top of the rice and soup mixture, arranging them evenly.
  • Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the chicken breasts.
  • Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 90 minutes, until the chicken is tender and the rice has absorbed the liquid.
  • Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
