  • 12 oz pasta spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne
  • 1 tbsp salt for boiling water

For the Creamy Boursin Sauce:

  • 1 5.2 oz package Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream or whole milk for a lighter version
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • ½ tsp salt adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water as needed for consistency
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Protein: Grilled chicken shrimp, or crispy bacon
  • Veggies: Spinach mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes, or peas

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions.
  • Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Creamy Boursin Sauce

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  • Lower the heat and add the Boursin cheese, stirring continuously until melted.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, then mix in the grated Parmesan cheese (if using).

Step 3: Combine Pasta & Sauce

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
  • Gradually add reserved pasta water, a little at a time, until the sauce reaches the desired consistency.
